(KS15) BD Director South Asia - Tax-free (USD)
We are very excited to be working with one of the top private hospitals within South Asia (Islands) who currently have a 'Business Development Director' position currently available.
As a 'Business Development Director', your responsibilities will consist of but not limited to;
- Providing leadership and direction to all aspects of the Business Development/ Marketing department, Guest Relations and finally the Contact Centre.
- Sourcing and Identifying new business opportunities for the hospitals to assist and encourage the growth of the hospital.
- Assisting with the growth of Hospital Physician Network.
- Working closely with the managing director, internal physicians and CEO to help resolve barriers for admissions and/or business opportunities.
• Analysing and preparing reports of volume, billing, collecting, accounts receivable, etc.
- Ensuring effective communication and coordination through working closely with with all the corporate and hospital departments (e.g. Accouting, Finance, HR, Legal and Marketing).
- Create short-term and long-term plans to accomplish departmental objectives/goals.
- Collaborates with internal physicians and CEO Support that the hospital is responsive to the needs of any referring hospital, referral sources and patients.
- Directs and mentor’s direct reports and works collaboratively to hire and support the team and holds them accountable to develop relationships with key referrers at assigned hospital that translate into business.
- Builds relationships to increase awareness of services and promote business opportunities. Maintains database of key referral sources.
- Conduct and create strategic plans for business development opportunities and marketing vision aligned with the corporate strategic plan.
General Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent is required with a Master’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 10 years experience with responsibilities and exposure to planning, marketing, research project management, community relations and finance preferably within the Healthcare Industry
• Excellent communication and people management skills
• International work experience is an added advantage
