This is a tertiary/acute International hospital which is located in the country's Idyllic locations within the Indian Ocean.

Job Specification
Respond to patients’ medical problems by reviewing their history, physical examination and
investigations, reaching to a probable diagnosis, appropriate evidence based treatment,
counseling and referral where necessary
Identify and treat major neurological system diseases and disorders such as central nervous
system infection, cranio-spinal trauma, dementia, and stroke
Perform or interpret the outcomes of procedures or diagnostic tests such as lumbar
punctures, electroencephalography, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests
and other investigations performed in the neuro-physiology lab
Interpret the results of neuroimaging studies such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI),
Computed Tomography (CT), Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography (SPECT), and
Positron Emission Tomography (PET) scans
Prescribe or administer medications, such as anti-epileptic drugs, and monitor patients for
behavioural and cognitive side effects
Evaluate patient through questions, examinations, memory tests, or movement activities.
Set patient goals and discuss a treatment plan
Maintaining detailed notes of appointments with patients, including comments, tests and/or
treatments prescribed, and test results.

Individual Requirements
Board Certified / Unencumbered License or registration from home country
Minimum Post Graduate Specialist Degree in Internal Medicine/Neurology
Minimum 5 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities
Additional Fellowship/ Boards preferred
Adaptable and able to work in a multicultural team
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English
