(KS44) Consultant Psychiatrists - CAMHS

We are proud to be working with a top private mental health client based in Hertfordshire who is looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist CAMHS.
This private mental health provider is seeking to appoint a dynamic new full-time consultant for an established post vacated by the retirement of the current post-holder. The post-holder will be able to contribute to clinical governance processes within the hospital and the chance to contribute to the development of new and innovative services in the hospital based on the needs of the NHS.

You will be registered on the Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a license to practice with experience of CAMHs and leading multidisciplinary teams.
This private clinic is contracted to provide services to the NHS and NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups. In joining this healthcare company, you will be able to continue to support the wider NHS patient group whilst working for an independent sector organisation.
 
Job Responsibilities 
  • Review referrals and determine appropriateness for admission
  • Conduct Admission assessment and ensure effective management plans
  • Conduct risk assessment and review regularly
  • Allocate specialist psychological treatments
  • Assess physical health
  • Ensuring effective liaison with referring/community teams, specialists and Commissioners.
To be Successful within this role, you will need:
  • To be registered on the GMC Specialist Register for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry with a licence to practise.
  • Have experience of CAMHS Forensic and/or Eating Disorders (desirable)
