Job Responsibilities

• Optimising patient care 
• Driving a highly-skilled and committed multi-disciplinary team in collaboration with other professionals
• Meet the requirements of statutory bodies 
• Providing leadership to the clinical team
• Ensuring the highest standards are met throughout all levels of service 
• Assessing new referrals and ensure that the service meets the needs of those who are appropriately admitted
• Contribute to the training and education of others
• Actively participate in meetings with colleagues and lead consultants. 
• Ensure high quality liaison and good relationships with external agencies such as commissioning bodies

Individual Requirements 

• To hold MRCPsych or equivalent, and a CCT
• To be innovative, motivated, and passionate about women's mental health care
• Have essential understanding of current developments in psychiatry
• A team working ethos
